Dr. Amanda is the owner of Balanced Physical Therapy & Sports Performance and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. A Lancaster, Pennsylvania native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2008, where she competed on the Varsity Women’s Gymnastics team, before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University in 2011. Amanda is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and has pursued advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, functional movement assessment, pregnancy and postpartum fitness, dry needling, and mobility coaching. Her interest in physical therapy began as a gymnast receiving treatment for sports-related injuries, inspiring a lifelong commitment to helping athletes perform at their best. With extensive experience treating gymnasts at the club, collegiate, and elite levels, she has developed strength and conditioning programs for gymnastics teams and served as the head provider for the USAG team at Sonshine Gymnastics from 2017–2025.
