Adrenal Dysfunction and Chronic Fatigue

When stress and exhaustion have taken over

Wired at night, wiped out by day, and never quite rested no matter how much you sleep. Rather than continuing to push through, let’s partner together to find restoration.

Does this sound familiar?

Adrenal dysfunction and chronic fatigue tend to show up together, and they get blamed on a busy life. If several of these symptoms sound familiar, your body may be signaling an underlying imbalance that deserves a closer look.

  • Wired and tired at the same time
  • Tired after a full night’s sleep
  • Wiped out by light exercise
  • Foggy all day, no matter how much coffee
  • Mood swings when stress piles up
  • Craving salty or sweet foods
  • Less able to cope with stress than you used to be
  • PMS or menopause symptoms that get worse under stress
  • Low libido
  • Memory slips or trouble making decisions

What is actually happening

Your adrenal glands sit at the center of how your body handles stress. When they are working well, you can absorb the day-to-day pressures of life and recover. When they are not, the effects reach your whole body: your mood, your cravings, your energy, your sleep, your libido, your digestion, and your immune system.

Chronic fatigue is often where that shows up first. Being tired after plenty of sleep, wiped out by light exercise, or foggy all day is a symptom, not a diagnosis, and it has more than one possible cause: adrenal dysfunction, nutrient imbalance, leaky gut, a poor diet, a dormant infection, or exposure to environmental toxins.

How we approach adrenal dysfunction and fatigue

We find what is draining you before we try to fix it.

1

A detailed history

Your first visit is 60 minutes. We go through when the exhaustion started, what your days and nights look like, what is stressing you, and what you have already tried.

2

Cortisol across a full day

Advanced testing that tracks your cortisol over a 24-hour period, so we can see whether your adrenals are behind your symptoms, alongside testing for the other causes of fatigue.

3

A plan to restore your reserves

Support for your adrenals, sleep, nutrition and targeted nutrients. We pace your treatment plan at a rate that feels right for where you are.
